Associate Scientist - Ex Vivo Tissue BiologyWe're looking for a hands‑on Associate Scientist to join a collaborative research team supporting ex vivo, tissue‑based biology efforts. This is a bench‑focused, execution‑driven role ideal for someone who enjoys generating high‑quality data and contributing to team capacity rather than owning individual discovery programs.This role will focus on working with animal tissue samples and applying molecular techniques to extract meaningful biological insights in a fast‑paced industry setting.*Please see the qualifications below before applying!W2 cotract only, contract to perm position!Key ResponsibilitiesPerform ex vivo tissue processing using animal samplesExtract RNA and protein from animal tissues and generate high‑quality datasetsExecute downstream molecular assays including RT‑qPCR, Western blotting, ELISA, and flow cytometryAccurately document experimental data and maintain reproducible lab practicesCollaborate with cross‑functional scientists to support ongoing research effortsContribute to steady experimental throughput and team productivityMust‑Have QualificationsM.S. degree in Molecular Biology, Biochemistry, Pharmacology, or a related field1-2 years of industry experience in a biotech or pharmaceutical environmentDemonstrated hands‑on experience with ex vivo animal tissue processingExperience with RNA extraction and protein isolation from animal tissuesStrong attention to detail and commitment to high‑quality, reproducible resultsComfortable in a mid‑level bench role focused on execution rather than project ownershipNice to HaveExperience with triglyceride quantification in ex vivo tissuesHands‑on in vivo rodent dosing experience (SC, IP, IV)Experience with terminal tissue collection from animal studiesBackground in metabolic or neurological researchFamiliarity with oligo therapeutics and PK/PD conceptsImpellam Group and its brands are equal-opportunity employers committed to diversity and inclusion.
