Estimator – Remote Location Pico Rivera, CA 4880 Gregg Rd, Remote in United States. Responsibilities Obtain estimates, draft bids and manage sales quotation correspondence. Download and interpret bidding requirements. Maintain customer database and update profiles, quotes, and contact information. Prepare and distribute monthly follow‑up reports. Consolidate, analyze and forward daily bid requests to management. Contact regional sales managers to resolve omissions in quote requests. Set up spreadsheets of quotes for product lines. Identify line item details for pricing analysis. Participate in educational opportunities and training including forums at Krieger’s corporate office. Accomplish department and organizational missions as assigned. Maintain knowledge of sales methods, procedures, product characteristics, and estimating procedures. Create and develop job‑specific goals aligned with organizational objectives. Qualifications 3–5 years progressive sales administration experience, preferably in a customer‑service driven company. Strong work ethic, loyal, trustworthy, honest, team player. Proven ability to multi‑task and regularly contact executives, managers, and employees. Ability to work cooperatively with a variety of personality types. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Superior organizational skills and attention to detail. Computer‑literate with proficiency in Microsoft Office. Problem‑solving skills. College degree preferred. Physical Demands The employee is regularly required to sit, use hands to manipulate equipment, talk and hear. Occasionally required to stand, walk, reach with hands and arms, stoop, kneel, or crouch. Must occasionally lift and/or move office supplies weighing up to 20 pounds. Requires close vision, color vision, and ability to adjust focus.
