In the role you’ll have the opportunity to use your strong accounting skills and ability to communicate with staff at all levels to meet our client’s objectives.In this role you will be responsible for submitting and posting general ledger entries, account reconciliation, recording revenues, accounts payable, perform labor audits, preparation and reconciliation of audit schedules. You’ll ensure accounting activities are in compliance with GAAP, Cost Accounting Standards (CAS), and client policies. You’ll perform reviews of general ledger accounts activity on an ongoing basis to ensure costs are properly coded (direct, indirect, or unallowable). You’ll comply with SOX controls, document requirements, and monitor compliance with internal policies and procedures, review and write RFP’s, RFQ’s and RFI’s ensuring completeness and compliance with federal, state and city rules and regulations; monitor financial transactions, and run reports and analyze variances.
