You will develop strategic partnerships with public and private entities, navigate complex government processes, and ensure compliance while establishing access to high-value transportation hubs across the country.About the RoleSecure high-impact locations for bus stops and stations by leveraging government relationships and private-sector negotiation skillsBuild and maintain strategic relationships with government agencies, municipal councils, and regulatory bodies to support business growthLead region strategy and align commercial objectives with government policies by identifying opportunities and mitigating regulatory risksRepresent the company in discussions with transportation authorities and media and prepare materials for hearings and public consultationsLead site acquisition, ensuring compliance with zoning, permitting, and safety standards across jurisdictionsDevelop partnerships with businesses, transit agencies, and property owners to enhance station access and amenitiesServe as the primary contact for station-related and government relations matters, advocating for the company in infrastructure planning forumsUp to 30% business travel as needed Manage up to two direct reports, depending on organizational needs, with responsibilities evolving over time About You Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Communications or a related field 7+ years of experience in business development, strategic partnerships, or real estate development, including work with government entitiesDemonstrated success in owning business strategy and securing agreements with government agencies or private stakeholders to support business growth2+ years of project management experience with strong knowledge of transportation regulations and public transit systems1+ years of people management experience or experience leading cross-functional teams with in-direct reporting linesSkilled in negotiation, stakeholder management, and analyzing policies to identify risks and opportunitiesExcellent writing, communication, and interpersonal abilities, with experience presenting to senior officials and business leadersFamiliarity with real estate transactions, land-use planning, and infrastructure developmentExperience with RFPs and grant writing is a plus but not requiredUp to 30% travel as business needs ariseSalary Range: $120,000.00 - $140,000.00 USDWe recognize that everyone carries a unique set of valuable skills and experiences.
